Survivors include her special companion, Darrell Wheeler, 2 children, Daisy Houston of Moberly, MO and Daniel Kitchen of Moberly, MO, 2 brothers, Anthony Leake (Paula) and Donnie Burton, 3 sisters, Mary Brown, Myrna Leake and Teresa Painter and 2 grandchildren, Izabell Kitchen and Abigail Kitchen and her nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, and 1 brother, Russell Eugene Burton.
Professionally Betty had worked as a certified nurse's aide and a certified medical aide.
An avid reader of science fiction and books on the paranormal, Betty also loved TV shows and movies about the same.
Fishing anywhere she could with family was also an activity that Betty took pleasure in.
Crocheting, having her nails done and visits to the Mexican restaurant for a dinner out were a few of Betty's favorites.
It was time shared with family and friends though that Betty treasured most.
