Daniel William Enz, 82, of Rhinelander died Tuesday, Jan. 11, 2000, at St. Mary's Hospital. Dan was born Sept. 24, 1917, in Denmark, Wis., the son of David and Ella (Plantico) Enz. He graduated from Kewaunee High School in 1936. Dan was a butcher at the Enz Market in Kewaunee and played the trumpet in Gloe's Orchestra throughout Door, Kewaunee and Brown counties. Survivors include his wife, Lorraine; sons, John (Arlene) Enz, Rhinelander; Steven (Coleen) Enz, Wisconsin Rapids; Richard (Mary) Enz, St. Louis Park, Minn.; grandchildren, David (Becky), Paris, Texas; Daniel (Louisa), Madison; Alissa, Rhinelander; Nicole and Rebecca, Wisconsin Rapids; Peter, St. Louis Park, Minn.; great:grand-sons, Jonathan and Jacob; brothers, Pete (Angie) Enz, Ap-pleton; Hugo Enz, Aurora, Colo.; sisters, Ethel Marcott, De Pere; Alyce Tittman, Kaukauna. Dan was preceded in death by his parents and four brothers. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 12:30 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 14, 2000, at St. Mary Catholic Church, Rhinelander, Wis., with Fr. Michael Hayden officiating. Visitation will be Friday, Jan. 14, 2000, from 10 a.m. until noon at the Hildebrand-Darton-Russ Funeral Home.
