Mrs. Blanca E. Castillo, 50, of Dalton departed this life Monday morning, May 28, 2007, in Virginia from injuries sustained in an automobile accident along with her husband, Gabriel J. Castillo, her son, Herber G. Castillo, and grandson, Javier E. Castillo. Blanca was born Sept. 4, 1956, in El Salvador, a daughter of the late Gonzalo Landa Verde and Ester Garcia. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Maria Joventia. Blanca was employed at Pilgrim's Pride Co. and was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.She is survived by her son, Gabriel Castillo; daughter, Bessy Castillo, both of Dalton; sisters, Maria Luisa Martinez, Mercedes, Sestona, Teresa Landa Verde, Leticia Landa Verde, Victoria Landa Verde, all of El Salvador; grandchildren, Jose Martinez, Herber Gamil Castillo Jr. and Alondra Castillo.Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday morning, June 4, 2007, at 10 a.m. from the St. Joseph Catholic Church with Father Jesus David Trujillo-Luna officiating. She will be laid to rest at the Little Prospect Memorial Gardens.
