FORTVILLE — Theodore A. "Ted" Bell, 75, of Fortville, passed away May 30, 2007, at his residence.

Ted was born March 13, 1932, in Peru, the son of Elmo S. and Ruth A. (Stewart) Bell. Ted was a 1950 graduate of Pendleton High School. He was a real estate broker/auctioneer for many years and owned Bell Realty. After retiring from his janitorial position at Keystone Church at the Crossing, he moved to Fortville and began working at Meijer Supercenter in Anderson. He will be greatly missed by his family, colleagues, and friends.

He is survived by sons, Donn A. (Kay) Bell of Anderson, Ken A. (Melanie) Kirk of Long Island, N.Y., and Keith W. (Tracy) Kirk of Monticello, Ky.; daughters, Teddi R. Baker of Norwalk, Ohio, Linda L. Bell of Indianapolis, Elaine K. (Jim) Kirk Williams of Fortville, and Laura D. Kirk of Monrovia; brothers, Hugh P. (Valasta "Jeannie") Bell of Middletown, Gary M. "Butch" (Holly) Bell of Fort Myer, Fla.; 16 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and companion, Flossie Moore of Middletown.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Carole E. (Baxter) Bell, on Oct. 16, 2004; and stepmother, Corrine (Ramer) Bell.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Pasco-Stillinger Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Washington Park East Cemetery.

Visitation will be 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society or Lawrence Lions Club.
