Burial location per obituary.
Information below per Pennsylvania Death Certificate
Son of Samuel Allen and Nancy Herbin
Was a laborer at Bethleham Steel at the time of his death
Died of nonthrombocytopenic purpura and periurethral abcess
PDC lists burial location as Guilford County NC, but his obituary states he was buried in Elm Grove Cemetery (presumably the one in Rockingham County NC, where several of his relatives are buried).
Pennsylvania Death Certificate says he was born 4 Jul 1899, but census records indicate ~1903.
PDE states he was single at time of his death, but he did marry Constance Bouldin 10 Sep 1922 in Guilford County NC. They likely divorced as she remarried in 1936 prior to his death. The 1930 census lists wife "Thelma" in household with John Allen, but no marriage record has been found.
