Dennis Bryan Hartnett Jr., 77, of Glenview, October 2, 2001, beloved husband of Helen Jane, nee McDermott; loving father of Deborah Anne (Tom) Welsh and James Michael (Linda) Hartnett; loving papa of Kelly, Molly, James and Matthew; dear brother of Rosemary Hartnett.

Dennis was a graduate of the University of Notre Dame class of 1945 and was with the Chicago Water Reclamation Dept. for 40 years.

Visitation Thursday, 4 to 8 p.m., at the N.H. Scott & Hebblethwaite Funeral Home, 1240 Waukegan Rd., Glenview (2 blks S. of Lake Ave. on West Side). Funeral Friday, 9:30 a.m., from the funeral home to Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, corner of Church and Grove Sts., for 10 a.m. Mass. Interment All Saints Cemetery. Memorials may be made to American Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund, 75 Remittance Dr., Ste 1907, Chicago, IL 60675 or the American Heart Assn., Dept. 77-3968, Chicago, IL 60678-3968.
