WAUPACA - A former Menasha resident, Norman E. Drexler, 59, Waupaca, died Sunday in Riverside Memorial Hospital, Waupaca.
Born Nov. 24, 1921, in Neenah, he was employed at Waupaca High School as a custodian. He formerly ran a tavern in Wittenberg. Mr. Drexler served in U.S. Army Air Force in World War II.
Surviving are his widow, Pauline; and two sisters, Sylvia Blaney, Neenah and Isabelle Carroll, Milwaukee.
Services will be Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. in Lammrich Funeral Home and at 11 a.m. in St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Menasha, the Rev. Charles Brooks officiating. Interment will be in St. Margaret's Cemetery.
Friends may call from 4 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with a prayer service at 8 p.m.
A memorial has been established."
