Michael C. McCulley, age 75, of Clarks Mills, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully Friday, January 18, 2019 at his residence.

Mike was born on October 8, 1943 in Manitowoc, son of the late Bernard and Beatrice Rolland McCulley. He graduated from Valders High School in 1961. He enlisted into the Army National Guard of Wisconsin in 1964. On September 18, 1965 he married Ludene Lemberger McCulley at St. Michaels Catholic Church in Whitelaw. She preceded him in death on May 30, 2014 after 48 loving years of marriage. He started Irishway Dairy Farm with his wife in April 1968 and reached 50 years of farming in 2018.

Mike loved spending time with his horses and going to horse pulls. He also liked spending time visiting with family, friends and neighbors.

Survivors include three sons and daughters-in-law: Mark (Gail) McCulley, Clarks Mills; Dale (Melissa) McCulley, Clarks Mills; Brian (Debbie) McCulley, Clarks Mills; eight grand-children: Trevor McCulley, Austin (Brittany) McCulley, Stetson McCulley, Brittany McCulley and Sarah Lasky, Stephanie McCulley and fiancé Randy Russell, Brandon McCulley, Kyle McCulley and Mariah McCulley; one great-granddaughter: Penny Russell; twin sister: Pat (Gary) Clark, Two Rivers; brothers and other sisters: Barney (Dorothy) McCulley, Whitelaw; Peg (Al) Otto, Platteville; Jane "Peach" (Joe) Panosh, Manitowoc; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Pat (Bob) Loritz, Manitowoc; John (Diane) Lemberger, IL; Adele (Neil Nelson) Schroeder, Manitowoc; Mary (Dennis) Gruenewald, Plover; Cindy (Marty) Corrigan, IA; Marion Lemberger, IL; daughter-in-law: Robin Gordon; nieces, nephews, along with other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife: Ludene; parents: Bernard and Beatrice McCulley; father-in-law and mother-in-law: John and Marcella Lemberger; one niece: Jill McCulley.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, January 25, 2019 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 15 South County Road J, Clarks Mills. Rev. Richard Klingeisen will celebrate the Mass of Christian Burial with burial to follow in the parish cemetery. Relatives and friends may call at the Church on Thursday, January 24 from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. A parish prayer service will be held at 7:00 p.m. led by Deacon Randy Meidl. Visitation will continue on Friday at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Mass at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers memorials would be appreciated in Mike's name at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Clarks Mills. The immediate family wishes to extend an extra thank you to all the friends, family and neighbors who did stop by and visit and talk with Mike about horses, farming or just to have a beer. He really appreciated each and every one of you for taking time out of your day to visit.
