"GEORGE M. AILES
George M. Ailes, well-known local resident, died at 7 o'clock this morning at the Maryland General Hospital, Baltimore. Death was caused by a complication of diseases following an illness since last October. He was 65 years old.
For a period of 45 years Mr. Ailes was employed by the Bartlett-Hayward Construction company of Philadelphia. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Elizabeth M. Biles; three daughters, Mrs. John Dorgan and Miss Bessie Ailes, at home, and Mrs. Vernon Rigdon, Philadelphia; two grandchildren, a sister, Mrs. Harry Mackison, Delta R. D., and six brothers, A. C. Ailes, York,; Robert Ailes, Dallas City, Ill.; Joseph Ailes and E.H. Ailes, this place, and Charles and Frank Ailes, Baltimore.
The funeral will be held Monday with brief services at the house at 1:30 p.m. and further services at Slateville Presbyterian church at 2 p. m. Rev. B.W. Jones, pastor, will officiate. Interment will be made in Slateville cemetery. Arrangements for the funeral are in charge of H. P. Harkins."
