Mrs. Samuel Gilpin Sr. MACY, Neb. Mrs. Samuel (Katherine Pauline) Gilpin Sr., 68, of Macy died Wednesday at the Carl T. Curtis Health Center in Macy following a short illness. Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday in the Macy Community Building with Valentine Parker Jr. in charge. Burial will be in the Omaha Indian Cemetery at Macy under the direction of Pearson Funeral Home of Onawa, Iowa. The body will be at the Samuel Gilpin Sr. residence in Macy. Mrs. Gilpin, the former Katherine Pauline Grant, was born Oct. 20, 1926, at Winnebago. She married Samuel Gilpin Sr. on Sept. 22, 1948, at Omaha. She was a lifelong Macy resident and a member of the Native American Church. Survivors include her husband; one son, Samuel Jr.; her mother, Mrs. Minnie Parker, all of Macy; three brothers, Joe Kemp Sr. of Omaha, Valentine Parker Jr. of Macy and Nathaniel Parker of Lincoln and two grandchildren.
