Glazer, Louis Born July 30, 1932 in Dallas, died on Monday. He was 76. Louis is survived and will be dearly missed by his wife of 55 years, LaRue Glickman Glazer, mother, Mollie Glazer, brother and sister-in-law, Jay and Harriette Glazer, son and daughter-in-law Larry and Harriet Glazer, grandchildren Jason, Erica, Jacob, Ryan, and Alison, and many other relatives. He is preceded in death by his father, Fritz Glazer, and son, Lane Glazer. Louis was truly a great man. His mix of charisma, joy, and loving concern touched countless lives. Louis always had time to laugh and to connect with the people in his big world. His enormous heart will be missed by family, friends, and colleagues. Louis was a prominent leader in the liquor industry, with a 50 year career that included Glazer Wholesale Distributors and Sigel's, where he served as President. He was an avid athlete for 65 years and particularly enjoyed softball, racquetball, and handball. Louis graduated from Highland Park High School and the University of Texas. Memorials may be sent to any charity of your choice. A memorial service will be held on Friday at 11:00 AM in the Sanctuary at Temple Emanu-El. His generous and fun-loving spirit will live in our hearts and souls forever.
