"Mrs. Robert Patterson
Mrs. Edna J. Patterson, 53, wife of Robert H. Patterson of 30 Division Street, died suddenly this morning at her home.

A native of Haverhill, Mrs. Patterson was born September 6, 1900, and spent most of her life in that city, coming to Pittsfield to make her home seven years ago. She attended St. Stephen's Episcopal Church.
Survivors are her husband; four daughters, Mrs. Wilbur Westover of Pittsfield, Mrs. Frederick Maxwell of Exeter, N.H., Mrs. Melvin St. Onges and Mrs. Harry Greenlaw, both of Haverhill; five sons. Frank E. Allen of Springfield, Richard E. of Haverhill, Paul K. with the U.S. Army in Austria, Robert A. with the U.S. Army in France and David L. Allen of this city; her father, Fred Whittier of Haverhill; two brothers, William and Fred Whittier Jr., both of Haverhill; 14 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at the Wellington Funeral Home Monday morning at 10. Reg. Malcolm W. Eckel, rector of St. Stephen's Episcopal Church, will; officiate. Burial will be in the Buttonwood Cemetery, Haverhill.
