Cynthia L. "Cindy" (Stiefvater) Panosh

Two Rivers, Wisconsin - Cindy Panosh, age 64, of Two Rivers, died peacefully early Saturday morning January 26, 2019 at Aurora BayCare Hospital in Green Bay after battling numerous health issues.

Cindy was born March 12, 1954 in Two Rivers, daughter of the late Richard Stiefvater and late Virginia Wojta. She graduated from Washington High School with the Class of 1972 and went to North East WI Technical College to become a Surgical Technician. On May 22, 1976 she married Wally Panosh at St. Luke Catholic Church in Two Rivers. Cindy was employed for many years at Memorial Hospital in the surgery department. She also worked at Holy Family Hospital and Aurora Health Center in Orthopaedics for Dr. Jon Henry. She was a Girl Scout Leader, a member of St. Peter the Fisherman Ladies Society, a lay distributor and a church funeral host. Cindy enjoyed crochet, swimming with her Fox Hills Friends and reading.

Survivors include her spouse, Wally, Two Rivers, one daughter and son-in-law: Erin and Paul Ruffolo, Chicago, IL; one son: Adam Panosh (Jessi Crowe), Two Rivers; three grandchildren: Caleb Ruffolo, Chicago, IL; Aria Panosh and Cassidy Crowe, Two Rivers; one sister and brother-in-law: Denise and Rick Elfering, and their son, Cindy's godson, Tony Elfering, Two Rivers; brother-in-law and one sister-in law: Larry and Jeanne Panosh, Manitowoc and their children: Brett and Amanda; and brother-in-law Myles Panosh, Manitowoc and his daughter Jamie. Other relatives and friends also survive.

She was also preceded in death by her father-in-law and mother-in-law: Walter Sr. and Janet Panosh.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, February 2, 2019 at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church, Two Rivers. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be Rev. Tom Reynebeau and the Rev. Maurice Mmegbuadimma with burial at Evergreen Cemetery on Monday, February 4, 2019.

Family will greet relatives and friends at the church on Saturday, February 2, 2019 from 9:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m.

Cindy was a caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. Her grandchildren filled her heart with love and joy. Praying at Fr. Bill's Chapel brought her immense peace and comfort.

The family wishes to extend a special Thank You to the staff of the Vincent Lombardi Cancer Care Center, Two Rivers and Dr. Saphner for the care and compassion shown to Cindy and her family.
