"Mrs Lloyd (Mae) Thomas, 71, of Titusville, RD 4, (Diamond), unexpectedly died at her home Monday, Feb 25, 1980. Mrs Thomas was born in Titusville, April 25, 1908, the daughter of Luther W and Leona Emerson Eddy. She married Lloyd Thomas, Oct 6, 1926. She was employed as a practical nurse at the Presbyterian Home of Titusville and also as a private duty nurse. She was a member of the Diamond United Methodist Church, the Women's Christian Missionary Society, and the Goodwin Bible class. She is survived by her husband; one daughter, Mrs Paul (Margaret) Hurlbert (sic) [Hurlbut] of Corry; two sons, Donald Thomas of Meadville and Harold Thomas of Tionesta; one brother, Howard Eddy of Ashtabula, O; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. A daughter, Juaneta (sic) [Juanita], a brother, Gerald, and a sister, Ione, died previously. Friends will be received...at the Horace D Williams Funeral Home of Chapmanville. The funeral service will be conducted at 2 pm Friday at the Diamond United Methodist Church with Rev William Milliron officiating. Interment will be in the Jerusalem Corners Cemetery."
