Edna was educated in the Norfolk Public School System. She received an Associate of Science Degree in Nursing from Norfolk State University in 1979. She retired from Bon Secours DePaul Medical Center after 34 years of service.
Survived by her husband of 59 years Therell Blue; 4 daughters; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Preceded in death by her parents; son, Therell N. Blue Jr.; 3 brothers and 3 sisters.
Funeral services will be held February 3, 2017 at Metropolitan Funeral Service, Granby Chapel. A viewing will be held February 2, 2017 at the funeral home.
