Zidé was the only daughter of the late Edward Benjamin Jahncke, Sr. and the late Zidé Bowers Benedict Jahncke.
She is survived by her son, Charles Edgar Allen, IV (Mary Alice Hernandez), her granddaughters, Sydney Grace Allen and Celeste Jahncke Allen, her brother Edward Benjamin Jahncke, Jr. (Jane Eshleman), her nieces, Mary “Molly” Montgomery Jahncke and Katherine “Kathy” Benedict Jahncke, her brother Barton Williams Benedict Jahncke, Sr. (Marcia Wade), her niece, Emily Jahncke Gershon (Andrew Gershon) and nephew Barton Williams Benedict Jahncke, Jr. (Whitney Bedford).
