Barbara Barr, age 75, of Chillicothe, IL passed away on Thursday, January 17, 2019, at her home.
Barbara was born September 21, 1943 in Poplar Bluff, MO, the daughter of Charles and Hazel Hiemeyer Hastings. She married Danny Barr on November 25, 1962 in Speer, IL. He preceded her in death on July 9, 2013.
Barb is also preceded in death by her father; and two brothers, Ronnie and Douglas Hastings.
She is survived by her mother and several nieces and nephews.
Barb worked at Wareco (BP now) and Chilli Bowl for many years.
She enjoyed bowling, NASCAR, St. Louis Cardinals and traveling with her husband and friends.
Cremation rites have been accorded. There will be graveside services at a later date. Burial of ashes will be in Lawn Ridge Cemetery.
