Daughter - Kay Hardy

History - Adelaide was a member of the general board of the Primary Association since 1927, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She was baptized July 11, 1885, by Joseph Kimball and attended the University of Deseret in 1899-1901.

She worked in the county assessor's office under Ben R. Eldredge and W. O. Corless and later in the office of T. A. Williams.

Her first Church position was that of secretary of Primary Association in Meadowville, Utah, when only eight years old. As a member of the 12th Ward, Salt Lake City, she served as counselor to Annie K. Hardy in the Y. L. M. I. A., and teacher in Sunday School and Primary Association.

Before her marriage, Sister Addie was a member of the old Salt Lake Stake Y. L. M. I. A. board, and later became a member of the Ensign Stake Primary board.

On April 2, 1903, she was married in the Salt Lake Temple to Rufus Kay Hardy and with him filled a mission to New Zealand from 1907 to 1909, Bro. Hardy presiding over that mission.
