He was born August 20, 1903 in Searcy County, the son of Harve and Bitha Moody. He had also lived in Ohio and California.
Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Myrtle Moody of Clinton; three sons, Cleo Jr. and Howel Moody of Ohio; three daughters, Mrs. Beatrice Smith, Mrs. Pauline Carey and Mrs. Peggy Lou Danforth of California; his mother, Mrs. Bitha Moody of Clinton; a step-daughter Mrs. Carline June Smith; three brothers Willard, Oneal and Noah Moody; a sister Mrs. Jewell Martin; 20 grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Pallbearers are to be Opie Winningham, George Whillock, Thomas Simmons, Polk Whillock, James E Bagley and I. G. Williams. Burial is to be in Half Moon Cemetery by Coffman Funeral Home of Clinton.
