Abbie was the daughter of John Steven Dolloff and Harriet Kimball of Meredith. She was a sister to Frederick Benjamin Dolloff and Pheba Ann (Dolloff) Plumer of Meredith and others. Abbie was age 12 living with her parents in the 1870 census.

Abbie was married three times, first at age 18 to George William Pierce of New Hampton NH. Abbie and George separated and he went to Massachusetts. Abbie was living with her parents in 1880 with her two children. She next married Fred F. Beede of New Hampton and had four more children. Fred died in 1922 and she next married M. Lewis of Vermont before 1929. (see edit note below)

Abbie died a widow at age 92 of a coronary in Hartland Vermont. The informant at her death was her son Edward Beede. Death record indicates buried Meredith Center and she shares a stone with her son Walter C. Pierce. Her family name on the stone is Beede.

Suggested edit: I just wanted to let you know that Nellie Mayland was the first wife of Edwin Pitman Beede. On the marriage record his birth year is 1889 (really he is 3 April 1890); his name is Edward (sic) Pitman on the marriage record; Edwin Pitman(name and d.o.b.) is confirmed by draft reg and VA records; they would not have had an Edward Pitman and a Edwin Pitman; also, John C. was born 12 November 1887; so could not have had an Edward in 1887. Just the 3 Beede children: Lillian Harriet, John Christopher, and Edwin Pitman
