Catherine F. Williams, 80, of 430 Grand Ave., a homemaker, died of a pulmonary ailment Monday at Mercy Hospital Medical Center. Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at St. Ambrose Cathedral, and burial will be in Pine Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Williams was born in Woodburn and lived Kansas City, Mo., before moving to Des Moines in 1978. She was a member of St. Ambrose Cathedral. Survivors include two sons, Anthony Prutch of Long Beach, Calif., Paul Gnapp of Austin, Texas; two daughters, Kay Steen of Indianola and Marie Neubauer of Bartlesville, Okla.; 13 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. Friends may call after 2 p.m. today at Dunn's Funeral Home, where a rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. today. Memorial contributions may be made to her church.
