Ruby Agatha Pruitt, a homemaker who lived in a Longview care center for about two months, died Wednesday, April 14, 2004, in Longview.

She was 84.

She was born July 7, 1919, in Tahona, Okla.

Mrs. Pruitt lived in Vancouver for eight years before moving to Longview.

She liked playing bunco and poker and watching "The Price Is Right" on TV.

Mrs. Pruitt also liked bowling, reading and embroidery.

Mrs. Pruitt was preceded in death by her first husband, Goff Cook, in 1945; her second husband, Clinton Pruitt, in 1984; and a son, Randy D. Pruitt, in 1999.

She is survived by one daughter, Darlene Burgess of Woodland; three grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

There will be no service. Memorial Gardens Funeral Chapel was in charge of arrangements.
