Obituary;
Mr. Arvel Oscar "Duggan" Clark passed away Sunday February 3, 2019 at Harriman Care and Rehab Center. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army.
Duggan taught school in the Harriman area for over thirty years. He served as Principal at Dyllis Elementary for five years then went on to teach at Fairmont Elementary in South Harriman in 1966, where he served as Principal for another five years. Following his teaching career he worked as a Property Appraiser also owned & operated Clark Realty in South Harriman until his retirement.
He is preceded in death by wife of 60 years Mary Rachel Whitson Clark and daughter Rebekah Lynne Merrell..
He is survived by daughter Cindy Clark Wylie, and grandsons Jacob Merrell and Jarrod Merrell.
The family will receive friends February 12, 2019 from 12:00 p.m. to 2 p.m. at the Kyker Funeral Home in Harriman. Graveside service will follow at 2:30 p.m. in Emory Heights Cemetery with Rev. Josh Head officiating.
