Mrs. Frieda J. Gloede, 90, widow of Fred Gloede, who resided at 227 Second Street, East Dundee, died Thursday after an extended illness at the Bowes Nursing Home. Born November 10, 1873 in Chicago, she was a life long resident in the Dundee-Carpentersville area.Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Clara Miller of Huntley; Mrs. Flora Periet of Dundee and Mrs. Hilda Gloede of Dundee; two sons, Walter and Lester, both of Dundee; seven grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred in 1940. She was a lifelong member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church. Services will be at 1:30 Monday in the Miller Funeral Home, the Rev. Robert Kamphoefner officiating. Burial will be in the West Dundee Cemetery.
