Mrs. Agnes Marie Anderson Hamilton, age 101, of Charleston, WV (formerly
of South 7th Street, Clarksburg, WV) passed away at 2:32 P.M. Wednesday,
May 2, 2007 at her residence in Charleston, following a brief illness. She was born
in Mt. Pleasant, PA January 16, 1906 a daughter of the late Arne Leonard Anderson
and Esther Nelson Anderson.

Her husband, Delbert D. "Ham" Hamilton, preceded her in death on February 11,
1977.

Surviving are, one daughter and son-in-law, Jane and Clyde F. Ross, Charleston,
WV, four brothers & sisters-in-law, Orrin L & Peg Anderson, Blairsville, PA,
Carl F. & Genet Anderson, Mt. Pleasant, PA, Frank & Betty Anderson,
Greensburg, PA and Edwin & Jane Anderson, Mt. Pleasant, PA, one sister,
Geraldine "Gerry" Driscoll, Friendsville, MD, two grandchildren, three great
grandchildren and several nieces & nephews.

Mrs. Hamilton was also preceded in death by a son, Andrew B. Hamilton, a
brother, Vernon E. Anderson and a sister, Elinor Anderson.

Mrs. Hamilton was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Clarksburg.
She was a bank teller at the old Empire Bank (now B.B. & T.) from 1947 till her
retirement in 1980.

Per her request, there will be no visitation. A family luncheon will be held at the
First Presbyterian Church on Saturday, May 26, 2007 and the family will receive
friends at the church from 1:00 P.M. till 2:00 P.M. A memorial service will be
held at the First Presbyterian Church in Clarksburg, WV at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday
May 26, 2007, with the Rev. Susan McGhee presiding. In Lieu of flowers,
donations may be made to Hospice care of Charleston, 1143 Dunbar Avenue,
Dunbar, WV 25064 or memorial gifts to the Building Fund of the United Disciples
of Christ, 302 Delaware Avenue, Charleston, WV 25302.
