Myrtle Lee Pearce, 84, of Sunflower died Saturday, April 25 [1992], at Heritage Manor of Indianola.
Mrs. Pearce, a native of Itawamba County, lived in Sunflower 45 years. She was a member of Sunflower Baptist Church and the widow of Cecil Garfield Pearce, Sr.
Survivors include daughters Barbara Edwards of Ebenezer and Virginia Steed of Senatobia; a son, David Pearce of Sunflower; sisters; Lalure Bell of Moorhead and Ada Thompson of Indianola; 10 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and five great-great-grandchildren.
Services were Monday, April 27, at 2 p.m. at Sunflower Baptist church with burial at Itta Bena Cemetery. Rev. Lester Jeffers and Rev. Billy Barron officiated. Card Funeral Home of Indianola was in charge of arrangements.
