William Felix Autry, known to most as Bill or "Wild Bill" passed away on January 20, 2018.
Born September 9, 1940 in Odessa, Texas to Walter and Mary Autry. Bill was a business owner, pilot, and systems engineer at IBM for 25 years. He loved building, repairing and collecting all manner of things as well as shooting, hunting and spending time with his grandchildren.
Bill will be lovingly remembered by his children, Randall & Tracy Autry, Sara & Jeremy O'Hara, Kerri & Ricky Mooneyham, Sherri Byers, and Kelly & Robert Weekly; his grandchildren, Luke, Christopher, Zachary, Nicholas, Tsegaye, Micah, Eribka, Sintayehu, Mikniyat, Harvey, Calvin, Kylee, Harper, Corey, Joshua, Austin and RJ and eight great grandchildren; his brothers Thomas & Janie Autry and John & Dixie Autry plus numerous nieces, nephews and extended family and dear friends. Bill was predeceased by his loving wife, Barbara of 28 years, his parents, his brother, Dewey and his daughter Melissa.
A celebration of Bill's life will be held on Friday, January 26 at 2pm at Galbreaith-Pickard Funeral Chapel, 913 North Elm Street, Weatherford, TX 76086.
