Rayne, LA - A Masonic Funeral Service for Roy Albert Oathoudt, Jr., age 77, of Rayne will be held on Tuesday, February 12, 2019 at 2:00 PM in Gossen Funeral Home Chapel, Rayne. In keeping with Mr. Oathoudt's wishes, his earthly remains will be cremated following the service, and will be inurned in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery No. 2 Mausoleum, Rayne.

Mr. Oathoudt passed away on Friday, February 8, 2019 in a Houston, TX hospital.

A native of Denver, CO, Mr. Oathoudt proudly and honorably served his country in the United States Marine Corps. He was a member of Masonic Lodge 243 for many years. Mr. Oathoudt was a self-employed carpenter, and was the former owner and operator of Roy's Mobile Home Services in Vidor, TX.

Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Audrey Menard Oathoudt of Rayne; sons, Jimmy Oathoudt of Bridge City, TX, Glen Carriere and wife, Mary Ann of Crowley, and Todd Carriere and wife, Becky of Vidor, TX; daughters, Tammy Vance Scott and husband, Gary of Keystone Heights, FL, and Karen Witaker and husband, Perry of Jasper, TX; twelve grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.

Preceding Mr. Oathoudt in death were his parents, Roy Albert Oathoudt, Sr. and Helen Sabold Oathoudt; brother, Thomas Oathoudt; and son-in-law, Buddy Vance.
