Mrs. Mumey was born May 16, 1864, in Millersburg, a daughter of John and Charlotte Howe Felton. She received her education in Mercer county schools and married Sol Mumey Dec. 23, 1885.
Mrs. Mumey was a lifelong resident of Mercer county and the state of Illinois. She was a member of the Aledo Methodist church and of the Royal Neighbor lodge.
Surviving are a son, Clyde Mumey, Tucson, Ariz.; three daughters, Mrs. Lee Stead and Mrs. Colbert, Reynolds, and Mrs. Mable Baugess, Stockton, Calif.; a sister, Mrs. Clara Graham, and a brother, Fred Felton, both of Aledo. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents and three children.
Funeral services will be tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock in the Aledo Methodist church with the Rev. Samuel Buck officiating. Burial will be in Aledo cemetery. Friends may call at the Sherrard chapel, Aledo.
