Helen Aiko Goto was born on March 11, 1922 to Shinzo and Tsuya (Oshima) Kimura in Ft. Lupton, Colorado and passed away peacefully on January 6, 2018 surrounded by her family in Westminster. She was one of four children. Helen grew up in Welby and graduated from Union High School in Commerce City. She married George Goto on September 4, 1946 and had three sons, Roger, Larry and Daniel. She is survived by her sons, Roger (Darlene), Larry (Dinah) and Daniel (Patty) Goto, five grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Preceded in death by her husband George, and siblings Hank Kimura, Marge Ota, and Nobuko Kimura.
A memorial service was held on January 19, 2018 at the Simpson United Methodist Church in Arvada Colorado. A private burial took place at Fairmount Cemetery in Denver, Colorado.
