Sarah Bernice Coker was born to Bernie and Leona May Adwell on June 9, 1949 at Ozona, Texas. She departed this life on February 7, 2019 at her home in Noble at the age of 69 years.

Sarah had made Noble her home for the last 30 years moving from Waxahachie, Texas. She was employed as a CNA with Loving Care for many years. Sarah was a loving compassionate woman that loved caring for others. She was a selfless person that tirelessly helped others.
She enjoyed sewing, woodworking, fishing, dancing and spending time with friends. She was a people person, never met a stranger and loved to visit.

Sarah’s most tragic loss came with the death of her son, B.J. Coker while in the US Navy in 2005. She was also preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Jackie Adwell and William Curry.

She is survived by a sister, Jan Shaw and husband Jim, two nephews, one great nephew and three great nieces. She is also survived by her adopted family, Kathy and Kelso Dillon and the young lady she considered her granddaughter, Kelsey Dillon and many other friends.

Funeral service 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 12, 2019 at McMahans Funeral Chapel with interment to follow at Maguire-Fairview Cemetery, Maguire, Oklahoma. Services under the direction of McMahan's Funeral Home, Noble, Oklahoma.
