Clarence Campbell, son of the late S. L. Campbell of this city, died at Pepin, Wis., Tuesday, June 16. The deceased was born in this city about sixty-five years ago, and for many years engaged in the practice of law, being a member of the legal firm of Campbell & Campbell. About ten years ago he retired from legal work and moved to St. Paul where he engaged in the livery business, until about six weeks ago, when he went to Pepin. Death was due to paralysis. The remains were brought here Wednesday for burial which was held at 11 o'clock this forenoon at Riverview cemetery. Rev. John Evans officiating.
