Clarke E. Watson, 84, of Owensville, IN passed away on Feb. 12, 2019 at his home. Clarke was born on March 28, 1934 in Vincennes IN. to the late George and Elise (Kidwell) Watson. Clarke was a Office Manager for NCR for 34 years, a member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Evansville, IN, and a US Army Veteran.
Besides his parents Clarke is preceded in death by his wife, Verna (Lockhart) Watson on Nov, 1974, a son Vance Opell and a great grandson Carter Vincent, brothers and sisters; Dick Watson, Glen Watson, Beverly Stephens, Phyllis Black and Suzy Fossweyer.
He is survived by his children Michelle (Pedro) Duran of Owensville, IN ; Pangela (Don) Letterman of Boonville, IN; Dan (Amy) Watson of New Palestine, IN; Nelson (Anna) Opell of Albuquerque, NM; a sister, Donna Sensmeier of Darmstadt, IN 8 Grandchildren and 9 Great Grandchildren and 2 Great Great Grandchildren.
Visitation for Clarke will be Friday, Feb. 15, 2019 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Stodghill Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be on Sat. Feb. 16, 2019 at 10:00 AM at Immanuel Lutheran Church on Volkman Rd. in Evansville with Pastor Kirk Horstmeyer officiating. Burial will be held at 2:00 pm at May Chapel Church Cemetery in Lawrenceville IL.
