Mr. Ross Holloway, 79, of 334 Noble St. Extension, died Friday, Nov. 8, 1996, at Upstate Medical Center, Gaffney, S.C.
Burial will be in Savannah Valley Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Holloway, a native of Lincoln County, had lived in Thomson for several years. He was a Navy veteran of World War II and had retired as a farm equipment mechanic after working for McGill Truck & Tractor and Hunt's Chrysler Plymouth. He was a member of Martin Cross Road Congregational Holiness Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Margie Greene, Gaffney; a brother, Bonnie Holloway, Lincolnton; nine sisters, Eunice Craven, Pauline Lewis, Mavis Flanigan, Virginia Silvey, Dot Snider, Joyce Parton and Betty Banks, all of Lincolnton, Nelle Parton, Rutherfordton, N.C., and Lois Bohler, Augusta; and four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
