Lee Fullbright, 92, of Cape Girardeau, Missouri died Monday, February 11, 2019 at Missouri Veteran's Home.

He was born October 5, 1926 in Cape Girardeau, Missouri to Amon and Minnie Seabaugh Fullbright.

He and Nettie Hinkle were married January 14, 1947 in Cape Girardeau. She preceded him in death October 28, 1996.

Lee was a veteran of World War II and served in the Merchant Marines U.S. Coast Guard in the South Pacific.

Lee's work career included working on the river, 10 years in the automobile transport business, doing construction for Missouri Utilities which later became AmerenUE where he became a meter repair and calibration technician.

He was a member of VFW Post 3838, American Legion Post 158, Masonic Lodge #672 AF & AM and Scottish Rite.

He was also a member of Maple United Methodist Church.

Survivors include one son, Jim (Colleen) Fullbright of Fort Collins, Colorado; two grandchildren, Vanessa Wolfe of Fort Collins, John-Paul (Veronique) Gomez of Luxembourg; six great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; one son, Steven Fullbright; and one sister.

There will be no visitation.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm Saturday, February 16, 2019 at Ford & Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel in Cape Girardeau with the Rev. Jeff Estes officiating.

Burial will be at Cape County Memorial Park in Cape Girardeau with full military rites by Missouri Honors Team.

Memorial contributions may be given to Maple United Methodist Church, 2441 Jean Ann Drive,
Cape Girardeau, MO 63701.
