(1892-1893), a girl named Ezy (1893-1894), Hinds Rupert (1895-1946), Bryant Douglas (1899-1920), Gordia (1901-1986), and Winnie Roberta Yelverton (b/d 1916). She married Edward Gaston Whitehead in 1917, and they had four children: Jo Doris Whitehead Savery (1919-1994), Joyce Elaine Whitehead Blackwood Lovell (1921-1989), Edward Gaston, Jr. (1924-1993), and Helen Wyvonne Whitehead Denson (1926-1998). All were born in Collins, Mississippi. E.G. and Alpha divorced in 1930, and she remarried to Claude Lee Lankford sometime before 1940. She and Claude resided in Jackson, Mississippi the remainder of their lives.
