Barbara L. Bayless, age 64, passed on Thursday, February 14, 2019. Born to Kenneth Lee Mealman, Sr. and Thelma Barbara Mealman on October 15, 1954 at Ransom Memorial Hospital in Ottawa, Kansas. She was the 3rd oldest of 6 siblings, oldest to youngest: Kenneth Lee Mealman, Jr., Robert Brian Mealman, Barbara Louise, Joseph Milton Mealman, Carl Edward Mealman, and Charles S. Mealman. In life she raced cars at the drag strip, was a deer hunter, and enjoyed caring for family and friends with her big heart. She spent most of her life working with semi-truck and trailer parts at Robert’s Diesel Service in Jacksonville, Florida, owned by her loving Life Partner, Robert Carlton Taylor. She leaves behind a vast amount of family and friends. Barbara was a leader, an adventurer, and was loved by all. She is deeply missed. God bless you all.

Family will receive friends at Dinsmore Baptist Church on Friday, February 15, 2019 from 6:00 – 8:00 pm. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, February 17th at Hardage-Giddens Riverside Memorial Park and Funeral Home at 2:00 pm, with burial to follow.
