Mrs. Mary Oathel Ridgeway Garmany, age 94 of Glencoe passed away May 25, 2008.

Mrs. Garmany was a member of Mount Zion church of God, but attended the North Gadsden Church of God after moving to the Gadsden area to be near her children. She was greatly loved by her family.
Mary Othel grew up in the Susan Moore community among many cousins and aunts and uncles. Her home was just across the road from her grandfather, William Hillard Ridgeway, old home place. She was a dedicated Christian and church member.
Preceded in death by her husband, James Charlie Garmany; parents, Wiley and Rachel Jackson Ridgeway, son, James Wayne Garmany, brother, Luther Ridgeway, sisters, Luverla Wilson, lma Preston and Clarise Ramsey; grandson, Byron Jack Griffith, Jr.
Oathel is survived by her children: Rachel Garmany Muir (Bob), Mary Garmany Griffith (Byron), grandchildren, Charles Garmany, Susan Petrosky, Melssa Taylor, Robert Muir, John Muir, Brett Garmany, Jason Garmany, Joshua Garmany, James Garmany, Brandon Garmany, Amber Mlekush, Beth Hamrick, Michael Griffith and Tim Garmany; sister, Margie Morris and brother, Hershel Ridgeway
