Marian I. Marsch, age 94, a resident of Shady Lane Nursing Care Center, Manitowoc, entered eternal life on Tuesday afternoon, April 12, 2011, at the care center.
Marian was born on Feb. 10, 1917, in Manitowoc. She was the daughter of the late Eli and Sophie Hartman Miller. Marian attended Lincoln High School and graduated with the class of 1935. On Jan. 6, 1939, she married Anton Marsch in Manitowoc. He preceded her in death on March 8, 1994. Marian lived in Manitowoc most of her life and was a member of Grace Ev. Lutheran Church for many years.
She is survived by two sons and one daughter-in-law: John Marsch, Manitowoc, Thomas and Jean Marsch, Green Bay; three grandchildren: David (Keri) Marsch, Minneapolis, Minn., Doug (Jenny) Marsch, Milwaukee, Brian Marsch, Green Bay; one sister-in-law: Betty Johnstone, Minnesota; one cousin: Betty Dolezal, Reedsville; special friend: Delores Jung, Manitowoc; other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
Private memorial services for the family will be held 11 a.m., on Monday, May 2, 2011, at Knollwood Chapel Mausoleum, Manitowoc. Officiating will be the Rev. Thomas Pankow with entombment to take place at the mausoleum following the services.
