Joseph M. Molendi, age 63, of 2170 Seminole St., Grafton, died Saturday, July 5, 2003 at St. Luke Medical Center, Milwaukee, following a brief illness.

Joseph was born Aug. 7, 1939 at Highwood, Ill., son of Laura Romitti Biondi and the late Eldo Biondi. He grew up and was educated at Highwood, Ill., and was employed in the automotive industry for 45 years, most recently with Dick Brantmeier Ford-Lincoln-Mercury in Sheboygan. On May 5, 1962, he married Joyce M. Roedig at Glencoe, Ill. They celebrated 41 years together. Joe enjoyed his family, reading, sports and cars.

Survivors include his wife: Joyce, Grafton; three daughters: Lorrie Molendi, Grafton; Dawn Molendi, Whitefish Bay; Jacque (Tim) Galaszewski, Oak Creek; two granddaughters: Meghan and Emma Galaszewski; his mother: Laura Biondi, Highwood, Ill.; a brother: Richard (Linda) Biondi, Lake Forest. Ill.; two nieces and two nephews: Dan, Mike, Elizabeth and Kathleen Biondi; aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends also survive. He was preceded in death by his father: Eldo Biondi.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, July 10, 2003 at Redeemer Lutheran Church, 1712 Menasha Ave., Manitowoc, with the Rev. Richard C. Miller officiating. Inurnment of his cremated remains will be at the Knollwood Mausoleum at a later date.

Relatives and friends may call at the Redeemer Lutheran Church from 9 a.m. Thursday to the time of service.

The Reinhold & Pfeffer Family Funeral Home, Manitowoc, is serving the Molendi family.
