A daughter of Harry and Mary Everwine Longwill, she was born January 25, 1901, in Dixonville.
Mrs. Able was a member of the Presbyterian Church of Marion Center and the Senior Citizens of Dixonville.
Surviving are four sons, Harry, Hamburg, New York, Boyd, Marion Center RD 1, John, Arcade, New York, Enos, Indiana; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Florence Maurey, Levittown, and Mrs. Betty Pollock, Struthers, Ohio.
She was preceded in death by her husband, J. Clair Abel in 1963.
Friends will be received from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday in the Rairigh Funeral Home, Hillsdale, where services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday, Rev. Bruce H. Bishop will officiate and interment will be in the Oakland Cemetery, Indiana.
