Elvis A. Presley, formerly Herbert A. Baer, age 67, of 19127 S. CTH C, Valders, died Monday afternoon, April 26, 2004 at North Ridge Medical & Rehabilitation Center, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, April 30, 2004 at the Christianson & Deja Funeral Home and Cremation Care Center, Valders. Officiating at the service will be Deacon Robert Drobka. Cremation will take place at a later date.
Elvis was born Feb. 17, 1937 in the town of Eaton, son of the late Henry and Hattie Mayer Baer. He was employed with Neenah Foundry for 27 years retiring in 1998.
Survivors include three sons: Joseph Baer, Manitowoc; Herbert Baer and Elvis Henry Baer, both of Valders; one daughter: Susan Baer, Manitowoc; mother of his children: LouAnn Walber Baer, Valders; one grandson: Christopher Baer; two brothers and one sister-in-law: Henry and Catherine Baer, Valders; Donald Baer, Kiel; two sisters: Marcie Baer, Manitowoc; Kathy and Buddy Mertz, Sheboygan. Nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. He was preceded in death by a brother: Bill and a sister: MaryAnn.
The family will greet relatives and friends at Christianson & Deja Funeral Home, Valders, from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m.
