Mrs. Millie C. Van De Grift Zabler, 95, of 1445 N. 7th Street, Manitowoc, died Saturday evening, February 1, at North Ridge Care Center, Manitowoc.
There will be no visitation with cremation having taken place. Jens Funeral Home and Crematory, Manitowoc, assisted the family with arrangements.
Mrs. Zabler was born December 30, 1890 at Kaukauna, Wisconsin, daughter of the late Francis and Velma Manley Glass. She attended schools in Kaukauna and graduated from Nicollet High School. Mrs. Zabler celebrated her 50th Class Reunion some years ago. She married John S. Van De Grift on November 12, 1910 at Kaukauna. He preceded her in death in 1951. She then married Joseph C. Zabler in 1965 in Burlington, Wisconsin. He preceded her in death in 1978. Mrs. Zabler was a former member of First Presbyterian Church and member of Order of Eastern Star No. 196 of Manitowoc.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Jack and Bernice Van De Grift of Manitowoc; a daughter, Mrs. Adolph (Mid) Belinske of Manitowoc; 11 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, cousins, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two daughters and four sisters.
