DALE FREDRICK OLSON, SR.
(1940 - 1994)

Dale Fredrick Olson, Sr., July 28, 1940-January 25, 1994, 1422 Washington St., #A, Two Rivers, WI 54241.

The journey to heaven was led by Dale's youngest son, Dane Reynolds Olson, on Father's Day, June 20, 1993.
Please do not stand on our stone and weep..
We did not die..
We do not sleep..
We are watching with love from above..
Daner has the ball..
I have the glove..
Feel our presence in all that you do..
Each special moment..
We will be there with you..
Dale passed into heaven on January 25, 1994
But he did not go alone..
For Dane came back with Jesus..
And they gently walked his Daddy home..

Dale was raised in Waupaca, Wis., and was married to Ruth Ann for 28 years. He was a proud father to six children and a proud grandfather to eight grandchildren.

He was a Teamster...and in the past was affiliated with H.O. Wolding and H.F. Kushek. Dale was employed with Ruan Transport. Dale received many safety awards and won many trophies in the National Truckers Rodeo.

Upon retiring, Dale went back to school and earned his degree as an Electronic Technician, graduating with a GPA of 3.57 in 1986. This was one of the proudest days in Dale's life and his family's as he received his diploma, being one of only a few in his class to wear an Honor Chord. Dale will be missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and friends. Also friends of his children who always called him Dad. Especially..Melissa Tarvin, Pete Wlkner, Tara Page, Stephanie Page (who only knew him as Grandpa), June Thoma (Mother to Bonnie, Beth and Brenda, Grandmother to Jackie, Ashley, James and Joe).

Dale will be loved and missed always by his family. Husband to Ruth Ann Olson; Daddy to Dale F., Jr. and Michel Olson, Victoria F. Olson, Dane Reynolds Olson (deceased) and Wendi Ann Osmunson, Bonnie and John Anderson, Beth and Todd Wilcoxs, Brenda and Casey Joyce; Grandpa to Melissa, Jennifer, Arielle, and Codi James Olson (including Mouse), Jackie and Ashley Anderson, James and Joe Joyce, Ren and Precious (Dane's kittens); son to Lief V. and Irma Olson, Basie and Effie Cunningham (all deceased); brother to DiAnne and David Smith, Darlene and Tom Mohr, Denise and Bamba Montgomery, Dane Olson (deceased), Mary Howard and Charles Nichols, Larry James Cunningham, Bonnie and Ralph Peterson, Irene and Wayne Hebel, Dorothy Wilson (deceased), Tony Wilson.
