Paul N. Eisenmann, age 78, of 2109 E. Hwy V, Mishicot, died Monday, June 19, 2000, at the Aurora Medical Center in Two Rivers, after a brief illness.

Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, June 22, 2000, at Zion United Methodist Church in Mishicot, with the Rev. Roberta Thomson officiating, with graveside military rites accorded by the Mishicot V.F.W. Kempen-Staudinger-Terens Post #7753 at Knollwood Memorial gardens in the town of Kossuth.

Paul was born February 18 1922, in Mishicot, son of the late Harvey and Edna Witte Eisenmann and has been a life long area resident. He served in the United States Army in Germany and in France from 1942 to 1945. He married the former Mae Gove, December 18, 1948 in Denmark, Wis. He was employed by the Bechtel Construction Co. and assisted with the construction of the Point Beach Nuclear Plant at Two Creeks. He also worked for the Mirro Corp. in the rolling mill as a set up operator, retiring in 1984. He was a member of Zion Methodist Church, Mishicot, the Mishicot V.F.W. Kempen-Staudinger-Terens Post #7753. Paul was a lifetime member of the Mishicot Sportsman's Club as well as the Manitowoc Fish & Game Association. He served as a volunteer fireman for the Mishicot Fire Dept. for 39 years. Paul enjoyed hunting, fishing and gardening.

Survivors include his loving wife, Mae; two daughters and sons-in-law, Carol and Mark Kunstmann, Manitowoc, Jean and Ted Bateman, Mishicot; one son, Jim Eisenmann, Madison; two granddaughters, Brenda Eisenmann and Loi Bateman one great granddaughter, Autumn Mae; three step grandchildren, Bryan Kunsmann, Lisa Kunstmann and Brian Bateman; one sister, Alice (Erwin) Hardrath, Manitowoc; four sisters-in-law, Darlene Eisenmann, Mishicot, Elizabeth (Don) Rosenquist, Bay City, Mich., Dorothy (Glenn) Tobison, Coleman Wis., Willa (Earl) Mach, Las Vegas, Nev.; nieces, nephews also survive. He was also preceded in death by two sisters, Mildred King and Marion Hardrath; one brother, Donald Eisenmann; two brothers-in-law, Earl and Arthur Gove; one step granddaughter, Mary Sue Bateman.

Relatives and friends may call from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday (TONIGHT) at the Lambert Funeral Home, in Mishicot and after 10 a.m. on Thursday, at Zion United Methodist Church until the time of services at 11 a.m.

A memorial fund has been established in his name.

The Eisenmann family wishes to extend a special thank you to the doctors, nurses and entire staff of the Aurora Medical Center for their love, special care and concerns shown to our family during Paul's illness.
