Easton Man, 78, Retired Railroad Engineer
Oliver Stein, 78, Easton, died Saturday afternoon, August 5th, at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Morris (Esther) Enceleski, Easton, after an illness of two weeks.
He was born in Easton, a son of the late Samuel and Aurelia Paul Stein. He was an engineer of the Lehigh Valley Railroad, and and lived retired for the past three years.
Mr. Stine was a member of Christ Evangelical Church, Easton; the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers and the Lehigh Valley Railroad Veterans' Association.
Surviving are his daughter, two sons, R. Samuel, Boston, and Raymond E., North Weymuth, MA; three half-sisters, Mrs. Milton Hurley and Mrs. John Keiper, Easton, and Mrs. Sally Seipie, Bangor; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
