She was born Jan. 20, 1931, in Mount Carmel, a daughter of John and Neta Case Westerfield. She married Albert Hakes in Pekin May 11, 1952. He suvives.
Also surviving are her father and stepmother, Mrs. Mary Westerfield, in Mount Carmel; three brothers, Henry G. Westerfield, Anderson, Ind.; Loy W. Westerfield, Princeton, Ind.; and Lowell D. Westerfield, Dade City, Fla.; and one sister, Mrs. Elva L. Waddle, Indianapolis, Ind.
Her mother and three brothers preceded her in death.
She had worked at Ideal Troy Laundry in Peoria 24 years.
Burial will be in Glendale Memorial Gardens.
