Richard A. Bailey, 40, 423 River St. died Wednesday March 31, 1993 in United Hospital.
Richard Adrian Bailey was born Feb. 21, 1953, in Grand Forks, the son of Adrian and Marcia Bailey. He grew up in Larimore, N.D., where he graduated from high school in 1971. After graduating from UND in 1976 with degrees in political science and social work, he was an intern for Congressman Byron Dorgan in the early 1980s, was active in Democratic politics in North Dakota and farmed with his father near Arvilla, N.D. He married Joan Flynn Jan. 2, 1985, in Grand Forks.
Services: 1:30 p.m. Saturday in St. Michael's Catholic Church, Grand Forks.
Visitation: 5 to 7:30 p.m. today in Amundson Funeral Home. Memorials are suggested to St. Mary's Grade School. Grand Forks, or Children's Trust Fund, Bismarck.
Burial: Bellevue Cemetery, Larimore.
