The love of my life passed away on February 13, 2019, just two months short of his eighty-sixth birthday.

He was born April 13, 1933 in Salt Lake City to Antonio and Francis Belcolori Lepore.

He was an awesome husband, dad, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. We were married on March 26th, and we had a beautiful family. Before that, Johnny graduated from West High School and went on to serve in the U.S. Navy.

He came home and started a career in auto mechanics, working on every car in the family. Everyone knew they could come to him if they needed help on their cars.

He loved to go to Wendover to play 21. Camping was something else he enjoyed doing with his family. Cooking was his passion, which he probably got from his family that owned an Italian restaurant when he was growing up. The holidays always had awesome food because he was such a good cook. He enjoyed traveling, taking trips to places like Japan and Hawaii, and many cruises to warmer weather. Johnny loved to read; he spent lots of time with his westerns.

Everyone loved Johnny and he will be greatly missed.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Fred and Jim; sisters, Marylou, Dorothy, and Toni; daughter, Miriam; and grandson, Skyler. He is survived by his wife, Yvonne Johnson Lepore; sister, Kaye Durrant (Don); children, John Robert Lepore, Jr. (Hue), Sindy L. Coleman (David), Lee Crawford (Misty), and Lynn Crawford (Carma); eleven grandchildren; and twelve great-grandchildren.

The family would like to thank the VA Hospital for the care and compassion given during his last days.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, February 19, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. in St. Patrick's Catholic Church, 1058 West 400 South, Salt Lake City.
Committal will be in the Murray City Cemetery.
