She was the wife of the late Clair R. Youndt who died in 2004. Born in Maple Grove, Berks County, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Anna Weber Gehman.
After the death of her husband, she sewed over 7000 school kits for MCC. She enjoyed crocheting, sewing, playing games and serving others. She was a member of the Gehman Mennonite Church.
She is survived by six children, Raymond married to Miriam Groff Youndt of Ephrata, Henry married to Ruth Mellinger Youndt of East Earl, Ernest married to Kay Styer Youndt of Mohnton, Linda married to William Keens of Mohnton, Dale married to Joyce Zimmerman Youndt of Denver, and Dean married to Donna Weaver Youndt of Denver; 15 grandchildren, two step-grandchildren; 28 grea- grandchildren; a brother, Allen Gehman of Ephrata, and a sister, Mary Gehman of Lititz. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Aaron and John, and by three sisters, Lena, Alice and Elsie.
A Funeral Service will be held at the Gehman Mennonite Church, 127 Witmer Road, Reinholds, PA on Saturday, February 23, at 10:00 A.M. Friends may visit with the family at the church on Saturday from 9:00 A.M. until the time of the service. Interment in the Gehman Mennonite Cemetery.
